What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing originated in Japan and is a literal translation of Shinrin-yoku. It is also known as Forest Therapy or Nature Therapy.

In essence, Forest Bathing is a slow walk and immersion in the atmosphere of the forest. A guide using crafted invitations will help you to open your awareness enabling you to tune into and connect to the energy, healing power and innate wisdom of the Earth.

Research has found that Forest Bathing can reduce anxiety and depression, lower stress, blood pressure and heart rate, elevate NK cancer fighting cells in the body and strengthen the immune system, provide better sleep, and increase feelings of gratitude and overall well-being.

A guided Forest Bathing experience recalibrates the body and mind to a feeling of peace and wellbeing and can be used as a preventive and restorative practice.
